March Break Camp

Programming and Robotics

March Break Boot Camp

March 16 – 20, 2020
Let your child become a programmer and modeler from a young age.
This camp is designed for age from 4 to 15 years old.

Computer programming is a universal language. People who know how to program will be able to communicate across countries and cultures, be innovative, and solve problems more efficiently, with no barriers to their success. Learning programming at a young age helps your children solve everyday problems and lay the foundation for a lifetime of opportunities.

The benefits of learning programming at young age:

  • It boosts self-confidence and allows kids begin to think of themselves as capable builders and designer.
  • It is a highly engaging, fun and empowering skill for kids to express their creativity.
  • Helps kids understand and analyze the digital way of doing things.
  • Empowers kids to be innovators with the ability to turn their ideas into reality.
  • Improves general problem-solving and logical thinking skills.
4 – 8 years: Color Code with Ozobot

Children will learn how to command the Lotus Robot to move from one place to another in this immersive process, tell the small robot what to do through color coding, and gradually create the their own story by analyzing and experiencing the complex program of the game.

8 – 13 years: Robotics and Programming

Learn the game design process from three aspects: game mechanics, gameplay and aesthetic experience, track player movement, detect player position, and etc. There is nothing you can't do! Don't ask "what can it do?" but think about "what do I want to do?"

By learning Scratch and Python, children will enter the world of design and creation of this dream kingdom, from exploring the mysteries created by others to creating miracles for children themselves.

9 - 15 years: 3D Modeling with Robotics

3D modeling is the use of 3D production software to build models with 3D data through virtual 3D space. 3D modeling can be applied to a variety of fields such as architecture, industrial design, manufacturing, film and television animation, game design. It makes your work look more realistic and the details perfect.

Children will learn how to apply knowledge to the real world, and how to make our life full of unexpected surprises. Dreams come true from here.

** Parents: While your child thinks they’re playing, we’re secretly using the game to teach technology, design, problem solving, and presentation skills.
